Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from other combat sports and martial arts. MMA includes (but isn’t limited to) Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, and judo. Learn a wide variety of techniques and spar with our advanced students. This hour long class will include warm up time, as well as instructions on how to do specific blocks, strikes, movements, and defenses.
You will need the following equipment to participate: MMA gloves, boxing gloves, workout clothing, cup (for men), and a mouth guard (optional, but recommended).
